Adele wondered around, looking at the people all dressed in gowns and masks. She was dressed no differently, but she couldn't help but look. Everyone looked so pretty and mysterious. Khole had walked off somewhere, but said he would come find her when he was ready to live, and vice versa. Adele sighed quietly and made her way to the outskirts of all the dancing couples. She would of liked Khole to stay, that way she could at least dance once. But if the mood struck her, she would just go but in on whatever he was doing and steal him away. Mask- Dress

Nixon fixed his tie in the bathroom since they'd just gotten off the stage. He'd switched ties, hopefully to avoid any fans following him around. He walked out of the bathroom with his mask on, taking a look around. He didn't see anyone he noticed, which was probably how it was supposed to be. It seemed like everyone was so quiet, like no one was speaking at all. Or maybe he just couldn't hear from the drums.

Adele adjusted the mask on her face, working her way through a crowd. She stopped just in time to avoid running into someone. "Excuse me," Her eyes meeting his before falling to his bow tie. "Cute bow tie, but it's a tad crooked." She reached her hands out, moving it slightly. "There ya go!" Adele smiled softly.

He smiled as she fixed it. "Thanks.." He breathed. He couldn't help thinking the mask probably didn't help much, considering his hair still fell over one eye. He'd been tempted to get half a mask, but decided against it. The more cover the better. That and he didn't want to look like the Phantom of the Opera. "Are you normally this beautiful or did Marilyn Monroe decide to grace us with her presence?"

Sizing the boy up, her eyes traced over his figure til' they stopped upon his face. "I know I look good, but Marilyn Monroe? That's lightyears away." Adele giggled, showing her pearly whites as she smiled. She looked back toward the dance floor as another song began to play. Chewing her lip, she turned to look at the boy. "Would you like to dance?" Her head tilted slightly, giving him a smirk.

Nixon shrugged. "I don't think so. You're beautiful, she's beautiful. Although you're far more beautiful considering you're here." He said with a smile. He looked out at the people, then back at her as she spoke. "Dance? Uh.. Sure.." He said quietly. His people skills were about as good as his flirting skills, which were horrible, if that was any indication. But the boy was terribly shy, too.

She took him by the hand, leading him over to a spot where there was enough room for the two of them. "Thank you," Adele placed a hand on his shoulder, looking down at there feet before back to meet his gaze. "Your hair looks amazingly soft for a boy," She smiled and began to move with the beat of the music.

He offered her his hand, gently placing a hand on the small of her back. "Being a boy is one thing. Being a drummer is another. We get the hottest part of the stage." He said, slowly guiding her across their little area the way he'd been taught as a young boy.

She moved easily over the floor, and it helped that the boy wasn't a terrible dancer. Adele kept her eyes on him. She would always stumble if she looked down to her feet. "Wouldn't it be easier with shorter hair then?" She questioned.

"It might be. But I don't like short hair. It looks bad on me." He said quietly, looking her over before his eyes fell on her's again. She was honestly breathtaking, even if he could only see half of her face.

More and more people filled in the gaps of the dance floor, everyone now had their own little dance partner. Adele kept a smile on her face, listening thoughtfully as the masked boy talked. "You shouldn't want to get rid of that hair, anyways. Cherish it as long as you have it." She giggled, jokingly.

He smiled, slowly moving with the music. "Well, I should hope I never go bald. I really like my hair." He said quietly, looking around at the people before his eyes fell on her. It was kind of nice knowing no one knew exactly who you were.

She gave a smile in response, her eyes falling to the couples around them. "What would you say to getting a drink and leaving the crowded dance floor?" It wasn't that she didn't like crowds, she just didn't like being in them. Each time someone new came to the floor, the temperature would increase as their body heat mixed it's way in.

Nixon shrugged. "That sounds fine.." Being he shy boy he was, he usually didn't have much to say, especially to small things that could require a yes or no answer. He held out his hand for her to take before he lead her to the long table they had towards the back of the whole affair. He handed her a glass of punch, grabbing a bottle of water for himself.

"Thanks," She smiled brightly at him before taking a sip from her punch. Her eyes traced his figure, stopping on his mask. He was pretty cute, even with most of his face covered up. "My names Adele, by the way." She took another sip from her cup, and offered out her free hand. She always forgot to introduce herself, and sometimes, she could spend the entire day with a stranger and never exchange names. A sigh rolled off her tongue, and she offered him another smile.
