'Sound good. Go ahead and start.' Knox sad, and Kenneth looked down into his cup. He loved hearing Jordan sing, or even just talk. He would never admit it, but he did. He looked over at him before he pretended to be interested in the poster on the wall.

Jordan glanced self consciously towards Kenneth again, then reached for his guitar and started again like he had before. Something sparked in his eyes as he sang. Something more..alive. Music always made him that way though, it was the only way to catch him at his best.

Kenneth could hear everything go silent as Jordan started playing.
'Mm.. Yeah, I like the idea of an organ keeping time. You know, in time with Ken's bass. He always thinks he's useless. Fucker.' Knox said, and Kenneth just got up to fix another cup of coffee.

Jordan but his lip, growing uncertain again. He was too self conscious. "Alright.." He murmured, clearing his throat and pulling back into his soft spoken self. "I'll see what we can work out to sound good with it.. Anything else, you think?" He coughed, clearing his throat and rubbing at it.

'I mean, I don't see why we couldn't have a piano in the back to- ooh, or a violin. That would sound nice. What's Ken thinking?' Knox asked.
"Ken/neth/'s thinking you need to stop calling him Ken before he kills you."
'Go grab your bass. Show us what you're thinking.'
"My amp's in my bedroom."
'And? Fuck. Lazy ass. Go upstairs.' Kenneth rolled his eyes, picking up the laptop so Jordan could carry his things.

Jordan nodded. "That might sound cool, yeah." He glanced at Kenneth with the faintest of smirks when he finally called Knox out, and reached for the papers and the guitar, limping past Kenneth towards the stairs. The cut in his leg ached, but it was more his miscles feeling tight and uncooperative since what had happened last night, that was bothering him.

Kenneth followed him up the stairs, listening to Knox moving around on the other end of the camera. He sat it on the dresser. He grabbed his bass, and started to tune it before he sat on the bed. "I dunno." He reached for a notepad and a pen on his dresser, scrawling 'song' across the top.
'You're so hands on.' Knox teased, and Kenneth flipped him off with his free hand.
"No. I'm thinking like, 30 seconds of an organ opener, then we throw Jordan in. He's kind of like.. the guide." He scrawled all this down in the form of lines only he would probably understand. "And then we just throw everyone in."
'Give me a beat then.' Knox said, and Kenneth bit his pen, starting to play the bass line he was thinking for it.

Jordan sat down next to him and set his guitar dwn. He stood up to grab his notepad and stumbled, gagging softly as he caught himself and grabbed it, sitting back down shakily. He tried to stay out of it, listening admiringly to Kenneth play.

'No. That's too.. clubby.' Knox complained, and Kenneth rolled his eyes.
"Yes, King Nothing." He told him, and fixed his settings on the amp before he started to play something far slower, almost hypnotic.
'Better. But still no. Try something slow, then high, then slow.'
Kenneth sighed, and fixed his settings again, pulling the foot pedal closer so he could swap them easier.
'Okay, now start over with Jordan.'

Jordan reached for his guitar and pulled it up, waiting. He counted them off and started the intro again, glancing up at the laptop occasionally.

Kenneth looked up when they were done with the intro, and saw Knox deep in thought.
'What you thinking, Kenny?' Knox asked.
"I'm thinking Jordan should do lead vocals.. And you can do organ and backing.. Maybe it could be a b-side or something.." He mumbled, messing with his hair with his pen.
'Yeah, yeah. I can see that. But we already have b-sides. We don't have a track three though. Or seven through eleven. But I'm thinking three.'

Jordan listened to them, staying quiet. He rarely decided anything for the band, just went along with whatever. Rubbing at an eye, he pushed his hair back and glanced at Knox on the screen, then Kenneth in turn.

'I think him leading sounds fine. But my sister's being annoying, and claims she needs to be fed. So I gotta go. We'll work on it next week.' Knox said, and Kenneth nodded, walking over to close the laptop. He leaned over the bed, scribbling down a bunch of lines on his notepad again before he stood up.

Jordan watched him, before standing up carefully so he wouldn't trip again. He grabbed his guitar and moved scarily slow down the stairs to put it back in its case and into the closet again.

Kenneth made his way downstairs, rubbing at his eye. He poured himself another mug of coffee, and took a sip out of it. He taped the song to the fridge where he knew he wouldn't lose it, his poor fridge covered with ton of lines of unfinished songs.
