Jordan waited for him to come back before he head up to the room and changed quickly. He hesitated, chewing on his lip, then gave in and snatched a few pills, slinking off to the bathroom to swallow them with a palm full of water and brush his hair. Once he finished, he wandered back diwnstairs again, pausing to pet the little puppy.

Kenneth grabbed his wallet and phone before he headed out the door, holding it open for Jordan and the puppy. He closed it behind them, leading him down the hall and out the front door. "So, where to first?"

Jordan hugged the puppy close, stepping into his shoes and following Kenneth outside. "I dunno, you know the place better than me," He breathed softly.

Kenneth put his hands in his pockets, looking around before he started down the sidewalk. "I guess you can just see the sights. It's actually really beautiful. Knowing all this is the same as forever ago." He glanced over at him before he pointed at an old cemetery.

Jordan nodded, slowing down to look the cemetery over. He bit his lip, wondering how many of those graves were empty like his own parents were. The place was beautiful in its own way though, no doubt. He desperately wanted to hold Kenneth's hand, but wasn't so sure Kenneth was ready for anything public.

Kenneth walked slowly past it, looking over the graves there. They looked so old and dated, not at all modern. Some of them were worn from floods, or storms. He reached up, covering his mouth as he walked before he pointed to an old theater. "And that's-"
"Oh my gosh! I know you!" Someone yelled, and he looked across the street to see a girl standing there with her friend. He smiled and waved, biting his lip as she walked over.

Jordan rolled his shoulders, patting the puppy gently as she squirmed. He was following Kenneth's gaze to where he was pointing when he was cut off by the exclamation. He turned his head, watching the two approach quietly, hoping they didn't make too big a scene.

Kenneth signed the back of her shirt, patting her back as he let her go. She waited for Jordan to sign it before she ran off with her friend. "Anyways, that's the theater. It used to be for plays and stuff." He reached over, brushing a leaf off his shoulder. "And was a whore house for awhile."

Jordan signed her shirt and offered her a charming smile as usual when it came to fans. He watched the two go, had never minded people actually enjoying seeing him, was surprised where he stood on a scale of popularity. But those people didn't know much about his actual life, either. He looked back at the theater, aware of Kenneth's touch. "Ah, I've heard about that," He murmured.

"Well, it is New Orleans." He said quietly, reaching over to gently run his finger over Jordan's palm before he interlaced their fingers. 'Better now than never..' He thought, slowly walking. "And that used to be a sweets shop. Lollies and candies and cakes. And down there was a barber's shop." He pointed a ways down.

Jordan was surprised when Kenneth took his hand, but he held it tightly anyway, figuring if anyone decided to say something, at least the two of them knew the truth. He followed where Kenneth showed him, a faint smile on his face.

Kenneth smiled, holding his hand tightly as they continued walking. He enjoyed the quiet, the dark from the overcast sky. With a little luck, the day could be theirs without bother. But he doubted that. After a little walking, he pointed to a big house behind a fence. "And that's a plantation home. Isn't it beautiful?"

Jordan slowed down, eyes wandering the house in awe. "Very.." He murmured, resting his head against Kenneth as he looked it over slowly. He ran his thumb along Kenneth's hand, not able to hide that lingering smile.

Kenneth gently kissed the side of his head, squeezing his hand tightly. "I can't imagine what it looks like from the window. It must be beautiful, looking out over the lawn and the trees. Even if it's half flooded." He reached over, petting the puppy gently.

"Yeah," Jordan agreed softly as he looked it over. He was compeltely relaxed for once, content. Especially since it was just the two of them alone.
